Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I Have To Undress Completely?
A: You may undress in private at your leisure. You will then have a sheet or blanket to cover with during your massage so you won't be uncomfortable. If you prefer you may leave on underwear, however your lower back is much easier to massage without it. Your level of comfort will be respected at all times.
Q: Can You Work On Just My Back?
A: We will discuss what area is bothering you, if any, at the beginning of the session and then focus on your needs. Sometimes working the opposite and surrounding muscle groups relieves the main complaint more effectively.
Q: Can You Dissolve Knots In My Shoulders And Other Places?
A: A therapist can sometimes dissolve a knot, but in most cases the massage will start loosening the knot. It took a long time for the knot to build-up, and sometimes it takes a few massages to reduce or completely dissolve knots. A regularly scheduled massage will help keep yourself pain-free.
Q: How Often Should I Have A Massage?
A: It depends on your schedule and personal finances, but anywhere between once a week to once a month is common. If you have chronic pain, then once a week may improve your quality of life. During stressful periods, many people choose to have them more often.
Q: How Much Does A Massage Cost?
A: Please refer to our pricing page.
Q: Do I Need To Tip?
A: No, you do not need to tip.
Q: Do You Accept Insurance?
A: Yes, depending on the type of insurance.
Q: Do I Have To Make An Appointment?
A: If you desire a specific day or time, an appointment will be necessary. Same day appointments are usually available. Please call Debbie's pager for same day appointments, or her office in advance to ensure we have a convenient time available.
Q: If I Call And No One Answers Should I Leave A Message On The Voice Mail?
A: Yes! Debbie might be in a session and cannot answer the phone. She will return your call as soon as possible. If you need an immediate response, please don't hesitate to call her pager. She can also be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
